Week 12 Cash Money Players and Suckmasters

Cash money

Rich Gannon - In a super pivotal match-up in our football league, I face my good friend Evan's team, which I always look forward to. Unfortunately, I have to go against Rich Gannon, who faces the Cardinals defense this week, which I am not happy about. The Cardinals defense is so pathetic that it allowed McNabb to torch them for two touchdowns and 250 yards in the air when his ankle was completely broken. Imagine what Gannon will do with his offense that throws 90% percent of the time. You pretty much cant design a better match-up on Sunday than Gannon versus the Cardinals.

Raiders WRs, except for Tim Brown - Gannon is going to be throwing to his receivers all day on Sunday so expect good things out of them. However, for some reason, Gannon does not like Tim Brown anymore, especially in the red-zone. Expect Porter and Rice to grab a touchdown and Brown to get his normal 50 yards without a td.

Priest Holmes - Just like I couldn't draw up a better match-up for Gannon in the air against the Cardinals, the same goes for Priest Holmes on the ground against the Seahawks defense. Lucky for me, I have him on my team to counteract the absurd game Gannon is going to have. The Chiefs offense has been a little funky lately, but Priest Holmes could take a nap on the field on Sunday and wake up in the end-zone against the worst run defense in the league.

Tom Brady - I read somewhere that the Vikings don't like to win or defend the pass on the road, so that can only mean good things for Brady and the Pats. I still think Brady sucks as a QB, but he should have a pretty big game on Sunday. Look for 300 yards and two touchdowns out of him.

Joe Horn - If the Deuce can't go on Sunday, look for Brooks to fire it to Horn all day long resulting in a huge game at home. However, a report came out this morning saying that McAllister is going to try to play, which means Horn should only have a decent Joe Horn day, meaning 100 yards and a touchdown.

Shaun Alexander - I see Alexander rebounding this week from his horrid 18 yards on 11 carries last week. The Chiefs pass defense has been improving lately, but their run defense is still pretty terrible. If Hasselbeck can get the passing game going a little, then 40 yards on 20 carries and 2 touchdowns is entirely possible out of Alexander.

NY Giants and Atlanta Defenses - The Giants don't have a very good defense, but they face Houston this week whose offensive line is like Swiss cheese. Carr could easily go down 6 times on Sunday. Atlanta goes against Carolina, who has the worst offense not counting either of the Texas teams.

Suckmasters

Koy Detmer and Duce Staley - Contrary to what Evan and some others believe, the production of Duce Staley is going to be greatly hurt by McNabb's untimely and unfortunate departure. Staley was never starting running back material anyways, and now with Koy Detmer at the helm his value becomes even more worthless. He makes an especially bad play this week against a San Francisco team that is nasty at stopping the run at home. I don't even want to talk about how bad Koy Detmer is cause it will just piss me off even more. He can't throw it past 10 yards, so he might as well dump it off to Staley in the hopes of a good game. I want my McNabb back.

Brett Farve and Ahman Green - Farve threw for 3 INTs last week against the craptacular Vikings defense, whats up with that? If Farve struggled against the Vikes, then against Tampa Bay he may be in for a struggle. Green won't be able to do much either against Warren Sapp and the nasty Bucs defense.

Randy Moss - He has played terrible this season. I don't see him doing much against a good New England pass defense. Probably the biggest first round bust outside of Seattle.

Eddie George - The Titans face Baltimore this week and it looks like Ray Lewis is back. George will continue his sucky ways on Sunday. Man I'm glad I don't have this guy on my team.

Jon Kitna - The GM of the Bengals has been talking lately about how Kitna has started to look pretty good, and he may even be good enough to stick around as the starting QB next year. Here some free advice to the GM: Kitna is terrible. I would rather have a third Hasselbeck on my team than have Kitna as my starting QB. He makes an extra bad start this week against the Steelers defense.

Drew Brees - The downward spiral of Drew Brees continues this week against the Miami defense at home. He leading receiver Curtis Conway is also now hurt, which can only hurt Brees even more.

Game of the Week

Green Bay at Tampa Bay - 1:00 Sunday - The Battle of the Bays is the game of the week on Sunday. Whoever wins this match will sit atop of the power rankings and be looking pretty good for some home field advantage in the playoffs. I think Tampa Bay's defense is going to be too much for the Packers to handle, although they will still end up losing to the Eagles in the playoffs. Tampa Bay 17, Green Bay 13
